1916: shrapnel wound, left arm Flanders invalided home. Temporary discharge, returned here (Dec)
1917: full discharge, with Commission 2nd Battalion Worcestershire (Cadet) Corps after having risen from Private to Sergeant with the 6th Battalion Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Wounded 6 times, twice seriously. Liable to be called up for re-examination under the new Army Act of March 1917
13 Aug 1917: health broken down (shell shock) as advd[?] indefinitely
12 Feb 1918: now at Grantham branch (since the 1st instant, salary since then to be paid there)
