History while in the forces
Sep 1914-Aug 1915: was in training with the Northumberland Fusiliers at BovingtonAug 1915: went out to the Front and was wounded at Arras on 14 May 1916, invalided home to hospital in London for 6 weeks
Aug 1916: returned to the Front and again left France to join the Cadet Corps with a view to obtaining Commission. He expects to be Commissioned in about 3 months' time
