08 Mar 1917: home training for 18 months. Trench and sniping work in France till May 1916. Health failed and in Hospital in England for 8 months. Now training for Commission20 Sep 1917: with British Expeditionary Force 2nd Lieutenant 4th Yorkshire Regiment, Flanders
25 Apr 1918: wounded 22 Mch expanding bullet left leg at Horton Hospital, Epsom
05 Dec 1918: has been discharged - disabled in one leg, has to undergo further treatment for several months, after which will return to the Bank
