Employed as Assistant Company AccountantSep 1916: this Regiment being disbanded in Sept he was transferred to the 89th Training Reserve Battalion. Went before Medical Board in the King's Royal Rifles and was classified BIII. Still employed as Assistant Company Accountant in the 89th King's Royal Rifles
Dec 1916: went before another Medical Board in Dec and classified Category BI
Jan 1917: transferred to BI Battalion Private (R) Garrison Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and again employed as Assistant Company Accountant and now holding that position. Was stationed at Blyth until 15 Jan 1917 is now stationed at Middlesbrough
