History while in the forces
01 May 1916: upon leaving the Bank I joined the 21st Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers stationed at Kinmel Park, Abergele25 Jul 1916: came out to France with a draft after spending a week at a base
02 Aug 1916: I was attached to the 14th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers and have been with the Battalion since joining it but at present am undergoing a course at a signalling school out here
