History while in the forces
01 Feb 1917: he was in training at Aldershot, and then became a Bombing Instructor at Portobello. He left for France in December 1916, and is still there. He has since returned to England to obtain his Commission23 Nov 1917: has now obtained his Commission. Proceeds to Dover on 26/11/17
04 Apr 1918: In France. Reported missing as from March 21st 1918
28 May 1918: Now reported a Prisoner in Germany and slightly wounded.
09 Dec 1918: He has been released and is now at home.
09 May 1919: Has entered College under Board of Agriculture and has no intention of returning to the Bank
