Was an old Volunteer and on the Reserve list. Was called up in October 1915 and soon obtained a Commission. Went out to France where he met with an accident in bombing practice by which his eyesight was injured. Recovered from this but contracted another illness which resulted in his being invalided out of the service.- Surname
