Feb 1917: Mr A G Mace joined the 1/4th Battalion Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry in Sep 1914. Went to France in March 1915 and is still out there
He was sent to Italy after the retreat.
01 Jul 1918: Mr Mace was killed in action on the 15th June, defending the Head Quarters Staff against a strong German attack
