06 Feb 1917: on Jan 20th 1916 joined King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, since then he was transferred to the Machine Gun Corps then stationed at Grantham - was sent out to France the latter end of May 1916, was wounded at Mametz Wood July 13th 1916 - Has been discharged from the Convalescent Home and is now stationed with his Regiment at Ripon27 Aug 1917: now stationed at Alnwick
13 Feb 1919: now stationed at Grantham
17 Mar 1919: resumed his duties at the Bank
