History while in the forces
Training in England 21 months went to France on the 4th Feb 1917. Went through the Battle of Arras and had all the fingers and thumb of my left hand blown off, also wound in right fore-arm. I was in hospital at Manchester and discharged 3rd July 1917 and returned to Bank. R.J. Littlewood- Surname
