Jan 1917: home on ten days' leave after twenty-three months at the Front. Quite fit and well. Now back in France again
31 Mar 1917: somewhere in France in Hospital with measles
27 Apr 1917: discharged from hospital and quite fit and well
Jun 1917: now home on ten days' leave then going into the Officers' Training Corps for six months in England
Oct 1917: four days leave. Now in Officers Training Corps at Pirbright
Jan 1918: now stationed at Dooes
16 Oct 1918: killed in action
