History while in the forces
05 May 1915: enlisted in the 3/1st Yorkshire Mounted Brigade Field Ambulance in Wakefield. Served in the Regiment in Wakefield and Clipstone (Mansfield) until Feb 1st 1916, when transferred to the Army Service Corps and up to the present day have served on transport work in Beverley, Bridlington, Scarborough and am now back in Bridlington being attached to the 7th Cyclist Brigade Field Ambulance- Surname
