History while in the forces
05 Feb 1917: training at Kinmel Park from 2nd February 1916 till June 10th 1916 when he left for France, was wounded at Mametz Wood, France on the 14 July 1916, entered Hospital at Manchester on the 17 July, undergone two operations. Wound under left armpit, pieces of shell entered lung. He is now at the Hospital, but expects to go to a Convalescent Home in the course of a few days- Surname
