History while in the forces
02 Feb 1917: proceeded to Persian Gulf to join HMS Juno early in 1916. Has been for last 3 months in hospital in Bombay. Sailed for England 26 January 1917 on Hospital Ship Nerasa. Has been suffering from Enteric Malaria Phlebitis.28 Mar 1917: returned to England and is now home on sick leave
