History while in the forces
Feb 1917: was trained at Walmer. Sent to Antwerp trenches. Eventually escaped to England. Has been up off Scotland with the fleet. Was for some time in Gallipoli and afterwards in the Aegean Sea. At present is stationed on Folkestone pier.- Surname
