Feb 1917: Mr Hobson went on with the Regiment to Egypt and then to France. He was in the Big Push on July 1st 1916 and has been officially notified as missing since that date
21 May 1917: we are sorry to report that the Record Office York intonate that Mr Hobson is presumably dead. Probably killed July 1st 1916.
