History while in the forces
01 Feb 1917: sent to Devonport since joining and spent the greater part of the first three months in hospital, tonsillitis etc. Sent to France Nov 1915 and is in hospital at the present since suffering from either appendicitis or inflammation of the bowels, tonsillitis15 Jan 1919: Mr. Heseltine has now received his discharge from the Army as from 13 June last. He is now in Hospital in Birmingham having undergone a serious operation
Nov 1919: re-joined Bank staff
20 Oct 1920: April 8 left Bank staff and went to South Africa 23 Dec 1919
