History while in the forces
03 Feb 1917: Mr Hammett went to France where he contracted Diphtheria, he then went to Egypt and had enteritis, and was then invalided home. He is now stationed at Ripon, Yorkshire and is trying to obtain his discharge as he is medically unfit for military service05 Mar 1917: we now understand that Mr Hammett has now had his discharge
