History while in the forces
06 Feb 1917: Mr Ferguson joined the First Surrey Rifles on the outbreak of war and went to France early in the following year. He was wounded, sent home to England in Dec 1915. Since then he has obtained a Commission and went back to France in January of this year.- Surname
