03 Feb 1917: went out to France in March 191 5. In trenches until Christmas 1915. Then Signal Service Cables, then Wireless and invalided home Oct 1916. Slightly wounded in the right hand and left thigh by accident.May 1917: stationed at Worcester with Royal Engineers Wireless Depot
