In training at Fovant and later Paignton and Farnborough. (Relinquished his Lance Corporal rank as unwell for a good time). 21/4/18 sent with staff to France. 21/9/1918 reported missing (as from Aug 22). Prisoner of War in Germany. After Armistice arrived Dover 27 Nov. Sent to Canterbury Camp
