History while in the forces
10 Aug 1917: joined up11 Aug 1917: sent to Reading then to Swindon - then Chiseldon next to Birmingham
28 Oct 1917: went to Farnborough for training Royal Flying Corps passed his examinations and spent some months in the Eastern Counties training for counting. He has been in hospital in Birmingham for 3 or 4 months. Went to front but is now back at Duxford Cambridgeshire. While in Birmingham he was engaged latterly in testing engines at home in the district.
