Harry Maxwell Davies

History while in the forces

01 Feb 1917: Mr Davies received his training at Fovant Salisbury Plain proceeding to France with his Regiment which did the usual duties of defending a sector of front line trenches. The Unit was moved into the Somme area and took its share of fighting. Later on in Nov 1916 Mr Davies moved with the Unit to Marseilles thence to Salonika. Reported missing believed killed 14 Feb 1917
06 Dec 1918: I regret to say Mr Davies is officially reported as having died of wounds
