History while in the forces

Feb 1917: was first in Public School Battalion Royal Fusiliers at Clipston Camp, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Went to France - as a Private, returned to train for Commission at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, gazetted to Royal West Kent Regiment, went to France again was wounded, and died of wounds at Rouen December 15th 1916
