08 Feb 1918: Mr Clement after being engaged in clerical work at the Depot of the Welsh Regiment in Cardiff was sent to Camarthen on the Registration staff. He was subsequently granted a Commission and has been appointed Assistant Controller of Registration 41st Area, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire and retaining the rank of Captain.- Surname
