History while in the forces
Aug 1914: Mr Bobby joined the Honourable Artillery Company at the outbreak of war. In February 1915 he was sent out to France and returned wounded three months later.Nov 1915: he obtained a Commission in the Durham Light Infantry and spent six months in Egypt.
May 1916: he transferred from Egypt to France and was killed in the Great Advance on July 1st 1916.
