History while in the forces
01 Feb 1917: he was in training with the Battalion in Sutton Coldfield for about 12 months. He then went to Yorkshire and later on to Salisbury. He left for France in November 1915 and has been there ever since. He is expecting to have his first leave shortly. He is in the Transport Section of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.09 Dec 1918: we heard from him this morning. He is now at Caudry, France.
