A decorative piece of mosaic flooring from the former Threadneedle Street head office of City Bank. It features an entwined 'CB' in the design. The building was designed for City Bank by the architect William Moseley. The London and Midland Bank acquired City Bank in 1898, and the premises then operated as Midland's first London-based headquarters until 1930, and then continuing as a branch until the 1990s.
