About this collection

Promotional brochure issued to mark the opening of Marine's new head office building, located on the junctions of Main, Seneca and Washington streets. The brochure contains a drawing of the new premises; a brief timeline on the bank's head office locations; description of the 17-storey building's key features; and floor plans. It notes the architects as Green and Wicks of Buffalo. The building continued as the headquarters until the bank moved across the street to the newly-constructed Marine Midland Center in the early 1970s. The tower is still standing, and known today as Main Seneca Building.
