Photograph showing the first Star Ferry Pier on the waterfront in Central. The wooden structure was in place between 1898 and 1912. Numerous small boats are moored in the harbour. The large building directly behind the pier is Queen’s building. Prince’s building is behind Queen's. The scaffolding to the right of the pier is the first generation St George Building, which was completed in 1904.
