About this collection
HSBC UK has a proud heritage of supporting farmers and growers. We set up a specialist agricultural department in 1958 and quickly gained a reputation as the “farmer’s bank”. Today, the bank has over 100 Agriculture Managers dedicated to helping customers develop their businesses and transition to sustainable farming practices. In this snapshot, we explore the development of this specialism in agriculture through the decades.
