Photograph of a Protestant Cemetery, with a caption that reads: 'The Protestant Cemetery, Happy Valley. Situated on the Western edge of the Valley, the location has been well chosen, though the near proximity of the Race Course is, in the eyes of many, an objectionable feature. A study of the inscriptions on the various headstones – extending backwards for a period of 30 years – leads to the conclusion that deaths from climatic disease have been remarkably rare'.
