Photograph of Hong Kong harbour and waterfront. Floyd has labelled it as 'Hongkong, from the Cliffs'. The caption that reads: 'Hongkong, from Praya East. The view here given shows with great distinctness the New Pier and Godowns [warehouses], the erection of which, despite some opposition, has already, to an appreciable extent, revolutionized the conditions of through steamer traffic. Most of the building in the left foreground are "godowns." The general view of the City from this point is highly effective'.
