Cricket was enjoyed at HSBC as early as the 1890s. On a summer’s day, the strong sense of team spirit was carried from the office to the field of play. The sport also provided a social life that revolved around the bank and led to lifelong friendships. These team photographs from the London office illustrate a century of leather on willow.
