Unofficial staff magazine titled 'The Strathfield Adventure' (volume 1, number 2). It was produced by F E Marriage and other members of staff from the Midlands Division Head Office. The team were evacuated from London to Strathfield House in Leamington during the Second World War, and this publication documented their experiences in a light-hearted way to help keep up morale. The magazine contains a variety of poems, puzzles, articles and artwork, as well as photographs of the temporary offices in Strathfield House. This is one of three surviving editions that we have in the collection.
